About Heart in Hand Needleart

Cecilia Turner is the designer behind Heart in Hand Needleart. Formed in 1994, Heart in Hand has grown into the popular cross stitch design company it is today!

In 1991, Cecilia entered and won a design-a-heart contest sponsored by Classic Cross Stitch magazine. This encouraged her to try her hand at designing cross stitch and submitting her designs for publication in national magazines. After a number of designs were published in various cross stitch magazines, Cecilia explored the possibility of publishing her designs in leaflet form. We attended our first trade show in Nashville in 1994 and Heart in Hand Needleart was born!

Heart in Hand Needleart's product line has grown to include not just full size leaflets, but Wee Ones™ leaflets, kits, and exclusive embellishments, all of which can be seen at our Designs page.
